ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition

ACUTE is a private, hospital-based medical telemetry unit at Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, Colorado treating the most complex medical issues in patients with extreme forms of eating disorders and severe malnutrition.

The UTHealth Houston Center for Eating Disorders is a multi-level care treatment program, affiliated with McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Our Center is a collaboration between the Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Pediatrics’ Division of Adolescent Medicine.Our comprehensive services are provided across our outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. For adolescents that require immediate intervention, inpatient medical stabilization is offered at our affiliated hospital, Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Eating Recovery Center/Pathlight Mood and Anxiety Center

Eating Recovery Center specializes in treating children, teens and adults struggling with eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, diabulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder and co-occurring conditions. Offering full continuum of care from inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. ERC uses expert multidisciplinary team, evidence-based psychotherapy modalities, family support and holds a strong alumni and family program. Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center specializes in treating children, teens and adults struggling with complex primary mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders. Local to Texas has Partial Hospitalization and Intensive outpatient programs. Uses expert multidisciplinary team, transdiagnostic care model, State-of-the-Science Neuropsychiatric treatments, additionally strong family and friends education and support.

Laureate Eating Disorders Program

Laureate is an intentionally small, not-for-profit, relationship based treatment program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Since 1989, our program has provided care for girls and women with eating disorders and their co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions. Our program is highly individualized and designed for a personalized experience, with a boutique style therapy approach that is tailored to each patient, and can incorporate all cultural and religious backgrounds. We offer separate tracks for adolescents and adults, and 40 hours per week of therapist-led group, individual and family therapy. Laureate is a relationship-based program and we take important steps to preserve that culture, including a 1:3 patient/therapist ratio. Patients also keep the same therapist, dietitian and psychiatrist throughout all levels of care to maintain therapeutic relationships. Laureate is part of Saint Francis Health system, which was named as one of the top 15 healthcare systems in the U.S. by Forbes magazine.

Our team of experienced, multidisciplinary clinicians utilize evidence- based treatment approaches to provide individuals with a wide range of skills and healthy coping behaviors to guide them to a life of fulfilling recovery. As a locally owned facility, Esperanza is able to provide individualized care plans that are both effective and flexible. Our cornerstone philosophy is Recovery by Doing. Patients do not just hear about what to do, they get hands-on experience doing recovery. Integrative therapies as well as grocery shopping, cooking and plating their own meals and activities like restaurant outings are all part of our hands-on approach to healing.

Our mission is to break down barriers and ensure that everyone, regardless of their background or identity, has access to the eating disorder support they need. The Center for Pediatric Eating Disorders at Children’s Health

The Center for Pediatric Eating Disorders at Children's Health in Plano, Texas serves ages 5-17. There is a 12-bed inpatient program with step down to PHP and IOP. In addition, there is a 4-week Partial Hospitalization Program for ARFID.
